SUBSTANCE

The heart of
The Sullivan Method is the substantive materials. Each subject is presented as a set of interrogatories with detailed answers.

Why? For one simple reason: active learning works!

Many people prepare to repeat the bar by reading over their notes.

This frequently leaves them unprepared. The notes look familiar and many people conclude that they know the material when, in fact, they only recognize it!

AVOID THIS PERIL!

The Sullivan Method
prevents this from happening by presenting the information in a question & answer format. You will know when you know a concept - and when you don't.

The Sullivan Method sets forth questions & answers in separate volumes so that you may view them simultaneously. Feedback from hundreds of bar candidates has been used to craft the questions & answers. The questions reflect what appears on the bar. The answers show the best way to understand and remember each concept for maximum points on the bar exam.

Each answer is crafted to allow you to explain a concept in the fewest words possible. This saves you time when writing your essays and gives you a clear definition that you can use to tackle multistate questions. Hundreds of examples are provided so that each concept is vivid and easily recalled.

Materials are available for all of the Multistate subjects. Materials have also been developed for all state-specific subjects on the Maryland Bar exam. Other materials are being developed.

This site will be updated as additional materials become available.
